When Tiffany Wilson began building 29Eleven Luxury Salon & Studios, she was not simply changing careers. She was rewriting her future.
At the time, Wilson was working in project management while raising two daughters as a single mother. After a pivotal life moment, she made the intentional decision to pursue her long-held dream in the beauty industry.
Licensed in 2013, Wilson began with a single station in downtown Round Rock. During the rise of the natural hair movement, she recognized a gap in formal education surrounding textured hair care — so she invested in advanced training, traveling and learning from industry leaders to master the science behind healthy, highly textured hair.
Mentorship and a standard of excellence
By 2018, Wilson was mentoring other stylists and shaping a culture of excellence that would come to define the 29Eleven experience. As the business grew, so did the vision.
Known for its expertise in natural hair and for proudly serving all hair textures, the salon uses a unified training standard to deliver elevated, consistent results. From precision cuts and color to silk presses, extensions, and curl sculpting, excellence remains the expectation.
A defining moment for the brand
The salon adapted through shifting seasons, including the challenges of the pandemic, emerging stronger and more focused. By 2023, expansion became inevitable.
After an unexpected setback with a loan, community support and a $100,000 grant helped bring the next chapter to life. In September 2025, 29Eleven opened its expanded luxury space, marking a defining moment for the brand.
Today, 29Eleven is recognized as one of the Top 5 Salons in the Austin Chronicle's Best of Austin. What began as a leap of faith has become a refined luxury brand rooted in education, community, and purpose — and this evolution is only the beginning.
